By Football Italian staff I don’t think the Roma coach could have said more than that.
The former Juventus, Inter, Milan and AC Milan coach has a reputation for being the kind of coach who will do everything to improve his squad.
However, he was not only criticised for not spending enough on the central defence but also for not investing in his centre-backs.
In his post-match press conference, Allegri stated that his focus now is on the defensive side of the pitch.
This is something he admitted was a difficult one for him to achieve.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Allegrini said that Roma must improve their defensive capabilities to achieve success.
“It is very difficult for us because our position is in a bit of a crisis, so we need to improve our defensive qualities,” he said.
“I am a defensive manager, so I know that it is important for us to get better in that area, so that when we have to make decisions and make mistakes, we can not get caught.
This means that we must make the right decisions in the right situations and that we can’t get caught in situations like this.”
We have to find new solutions, because we are in a situation where we need a new defensive philosophy and a new mentality.
In the last two seasons, we have not achieved anything, but this year we have already reached the Champions League final.
I don’t see that it will take long for us, especially in the final stages, to have a chance of winning the competition.
If we do that, we are going to be very successful.
We must get better, but the first thing we need is to find a new solution.
At the moment, we cannot change the way we play, but we can improve the way that we think and the way in which we react to things.”
I have a great team, I believe that they are going in the correct direction, but if we do not think in the same way, we won’t achieve anything.
The Coach: It’s been an important season for me as a coach.
I have achieved everything I had hoped to achieve, including the Champions and Europa League trophies.
It has been a great season.
This is what I want to say to all of you.
Roma has won the Scudetto with a 2-0 victory over Sassuolo in the last round of the Scotiabank Double Champions League.
It also finished fourth in Serie A. It will be a tough season to manage, as there is a lot to think about.
Stay tuned for Part 2, where we will look at the results and who should be in the starting line-up for the upcoming Champions League quarter-final.
